Now that we've gotten the essentials out of the way, you should know that I've tried a million and one things to get rid of the fat but nothing has worked. I have been reading up on low carb high fat diets and have finally come across something called keto / ketogenic diet. I'm not going to bore you with my mumbling of trying to explain the science behind it but do yourself a favour and read up on it if you don't already know what it's about.

I'm using MFP (My fitness pal) to figure everything out without guessing how much carbs I'm eating
I have Vida One installed in my PC even though I'm yet to figure out what to do with it
And I have this blog for all the other fun stuff
I'm thinking of starting with cycling to break into my fitness journey but not just yet - I have so much in the way of resources as far as fitness is concerned, I simply need to get used to this lifestyle enough to effectively incorporate fitness challenges. Sounds exciting, right?
Firstly, I want to break the transition to keto into short challenges - e.g. complete a 30 day challenge and another and another and so on... until I'm adapted
